    1. @Pswain sus2 and the sus4 are close in sound because there are inversions of each other. E.g., Csus2 is “C D G,” and Gsus4 is “G C D” same notes but arranged differently. With that said, I don’t associate an emotion with the sus2 chords as it is too close to the sus4. Instead, I listen for where the cluster is. For example, in the sus2, the cluster is at the bottom “CD G,” and in the sus4, the cluster is at the top “C FG.”
