I picked up some great new tips for learning new songs. Things like practicing to drum background instead of metronome. Why? So you get a feel for the style of music. The number system to connect chords to a home key, otherwise chords are just disconnected chords. Also the importance of learning chord progressions rather than chords. Very helpful! I liked that 1 – 6 – 2 – 5 progression.
