This lesson covers the 2-5-1 passing chord technique. This technique is demonstrated on the 1-6 progression, and with in the song "Welcome Into This Place."
Lesson 2: As The Deer With 2-5-1 Passing
Lesson 2 is where we explore the 2-5-1 passing chord concept with more practical applications using the song "As The Deer."
Lesson 3: Minor Chromatic Passing
The Minor Chromatic Passing is the second type of passing chord technique covered in the course. This passing chord is commonly used when going to a minor chord. The lesson demonstrated moving between 2--3 chord.
Lesson 4: Center Of My Joy
Lesson 4 explores more usage of the 2-5-1 and the minor chromatic passing chord concept using the Richard Smallwood song, "Center Of My Joy."
Lesson 5: Diminished Chromatic Passing
This lesson covers the third type of passing the chord, Diminished Chromatic Passing. This type of passing chord is generally used when going to a minor chord. The lesson shows examples when going form the 1-2 chord, and 1-6 chord.
Lesson 6: Secondary Dominant
The this is fourth type of passing chord and is often extended to for the 2-5-1 passing. The lesson uses examples with the 1-4, 2-5, and 3-6 progressions.
