This is a great course. So much information, patiently and thoroughly explained (as usual). I’ve watched these videos several times and my brain is still working very hard trying to get all these modes to stick! Warren, you are so right – understanding the theory behind what we are learning to play is absolutely essential to our success.
If possible, there are a few little things in the “harmonic minor modes” video that it would be nice to have fixed, to avoid confusion: 1. @ 2.50 is it possible to “paste” *correction* Locrian #6 (i.e. when you first said b6 by mistake)
2. The chapter headings below the video: “Locrian Flat 6 mode” S/B “Locrian #6 mode, and “Super Locrian” S/B “Super Locrian bb7”
3. The correct answer to Q. 5 in the quiz should be “Super Locrian bb7”
