Triad Blocked and Broken Chords

Efficiency on the piano comes from having proper technique. Most self-taught pianists only practice scales in hopes of developing strong technique; however, one of the often overlooked but necessary exercises to help with technique building is practicing of Block Chords and Broken Chords. After all, as a pianist, we spend most of our time playing chords, so we need to ensure we do everything necessary to hone this skill.

In this course, you will learn everything about how to practice blocked and broken chords in all twelve keys with the correct fingerings. The chords covered in this course are; Major, Minor, and Diminished

Time well spent!

I have been playing broken and blocked chords for some time now BUT going through this course has made me realize it never hurts to re-enforce some things I have learned or to fix some things I have learned incorrectly. Thanks Warren!

Blocked chords and Broken chords

since I have small hands, it was good to know that it's okay to use alternate fingerings when necessary.

Roadmap to successful technique

Warren not only tell you the what but the why of needing to be proficient with blocked and broken chords. Playing them well and in all keys sets the foundation for piano success. Warren is a great teacher and is clearly interested in the development of his students. Some people that have the talent level that Warren does are not interested in helping others grow and develop. I highly recommend
