Improvisation - the main reason I signed up

I can't believe I am only a month or so into this course, and already I'm learning to improvise! Thank you, Warren for being a great teacher and knowing what it's like to be a beginner. This lesson is a great way to start and I never realized it would be so easy.

Phenomenal Approach to Learning Improvisation

I love this approach and find it helpful because my problem with improv is finding and having rhythmic ideas that make things interesting and appropriate for songs. The concept of adding musical vocabulary resonates because it correlates to words, sentences, paragraphs, etc, in language. Keep the ideas coming. Thanks!

Fingerings and 3rds/5ths

This is God sent! Perfect timing as I started as church musician this past Sunday! Playing for someone starting a congregational song was challenging because it was in a key I wasn't REALLY familiar with but got the chord progressions down. This is really helping with songs I already know, but moreso for talk music playing behind the pastor. Awesome..Thanks Warren! pswain
