Mr. McPherson, I found this lesson to be one of exceptional instruction on how to play shout praise patterns. However, I wasn't able to download sheet music of the slower patterns, or was I to simply slow down the fast pattern version? Thank you Vessex
This lesson (and others) are especially good in combining the urban contemporary gospel style in application to the music theory side of gospel shouts. During the pandemic “stay at home” situation I have enjoyed focusing on improving my church music ministry as an instrumentalist. Thank you for the tremendous time and effort involved in this site!
And Warren is all revved up! I believe the Shout and Praise was always my favorite music in church. I watch this tutorial over and over and it never gets boring. Warren is having fun and this is fundamental gospel. Think Doobie Brothers, Takin’ it To The Streets…I can’t wait to master these techniques…
