If you’re looking for that mature modern gospel sound, then look no further. In this course, you’ll learn tips and techniques on how to take any worship song or hymn and make it modern.
In order for you to move away from the beginner triad chords, to the more advanced luscious sound ( heard in most modern gospel music) you MUST know your altered extensions, know how to voice them, and know how to use them. This courses WILL teach you how to do all those things, all in the key of C.
You’ll learn how to use chords like; “b9,” “#9,” “#11,” and the “b13” along with all the other extended diatonic chords, all while staying true to the core essence and integrity of the song.

I love to watch you mine the sounds from the chords - 2ndary dominant, and passing chords - as you play these songs. I appreciate that you show us the structure and then VERY SLOWLY and REPEATEDLY - caps are for emphasis because I love this part - go through the songs so we can learn.
This course unfortunately is too focused on the memorization of the voicings, without insight into how they were built in the first place. Some rules are given which the chords should NOT violate, which is good, but nothing is said on how to come up with them. So the student can do not much else than to just try to reuse those exact voicings in a song. Exercises on creating voices would help.
